This is Peanut Butter Brickle. Have you ever walked by a hole and wondered what lived in there? Did you wonder or did you find out?

When Girl Person was little, she said that there were a lot of holes in her yard. Snake holes to be specific. I’m very specific.
She said her brother and herself were not afraid of the snakes. They came out of there holes quite often. But you just had to watch your step.
When we are on a trail, the persons are always looking for snakes and trying not to step on snakes. Digby is very afraid of snakes. And every time he sees a suspicious looking stick, he jumps quite high in the air and we all have to laugh.

So what is it about snakes? And why did Boy Person call me a snake the other morning? Well, I like to sleep in the corner of the pullout bed in the RV. And when he wakes up he forgets I am there until I pop my head up and scare him. But as with everyone and anyone, including my persons, I am suspicious all of the time.
Yep. I’m a suspicious snake.
Ready to pop out and hold you accountable for whatever it is you are up to.

That’s right. I’m on duty all of the time. Being suspicious and cautious is how I operate. I am always trying to figure something out and learn.
We may look at others and wonder why they are the way they are. It’s only natural. Being inquisitive is ok.
But don’t be judgmental. A snake doesn’t judge.
If it doesn’t like something or someone it slithers away. Simple as that.
