The Roar In The Bushes

This is Fruitycake. Life can be a scary thing. But no matter what happens in my world, the persons make their own scariness that can’t be outdone. No matter what I encounter in the wild.

Yesterday had been an odd day of weather with the sunshiney, then the clouds, then hail! I don’t know if I have ever seen hail. But I sure did feel it!

Last evening, Girl Person and I were on our way the path to the sea. Probably in just a few days, they will close it to dogs to make way for all the tourist people. So we go as often as we can.

But right at the bottom of the path, we heard it. The loudest growl you could ever hear. Even louder than Brickle’s growl, I have to say.  It scared Girl Person out of her muddy trotters! And she said “hurry, Fruity. Keep moving.” Apparently, the millions of cow bells gangling didn’t scare them.

So I did just that. Keep moving. And then, all of a sudden, out of nowhere came a critter across Girl Person’s muddy trotters. A brindle type critter that ran into the bushes. It scared her so bad she yelled, but obviously, the thing in the bushes wasn’t gonna help her. And we kept going. We decided to look up what animals were here to see what in the world a growl and a brindle, plump critter might be. But the mystery was about to be solved.

Because after the sea, as we made our way up with cowbells and singly loudly to scare any critters, there it was. A baby boar with stripes like a Brickle brindle pig.

Help us here

Picture you ask? No way! Video? No way! It was not included in yesterdays’s round up.

We ran and yelled and scurried fast! Right past the growl. Right past danger. We averted it.

And we were glad. We respected them. They left us alone. And sometimes, you have to do that in life.

Sometimes, if something or someone is about to harm you, you have to protect yourself. Your peace. Your health. Yourself. Don’t risk it.

The growl in the bushes reminded us that we certainly can live in peace with the ones here before us like the wild pigs. If we take precautions and be aware.

But I have to say, that growl as scary as it was, was a warning. The pig didn’t want to harm us or it would have. Listen to warnings. Your heart knows what those warnings are saying.

Wow! Fruity, that was scary! Glad you and GP had your bells, although it didn’t seem to matter to the wild pig. Glad you did the best you could and just moved quickly away. Hope you have a good day today.
    Love, Candy
