This is Fruitycake.  Have you ever felt like you could start running and never stop? Like you had THAT much energy? I have.

But a little known fact about me is that my endurance is well…not there.  So when I have the energy, I use it all! And you just can’t stop me! Especially when I’m let out of jail.

Jail.  Such an imprisoning word.  But that’s how we have felt lately.  Actually, for the last four months, it’s rained nonstop.

We have felt trapped and useless and just stir crazy! When the sunshiney came out this weekend with the birds chirping and the flowers and the bugs,

it was like we were all let out of jail! Every beach in this Italy place was filled with people soaking up the sun, with their faces all lit up.

We were all just so happy and happy to be let out of jail!

Although we have a lot to do here, we feel better somehow.  Yes, Girl Person has to get better with surgery. And we have to be more comfortable here.  It’s been so hard.

But now with our permission to stay from this Italy place? It’s like we have so many possibilities.  The best part? They told us we could stay because of how we help animals and wildlife and how we make a contribution to this area and all on our social media channels for the world.

It was the first permission of its kind…ever…in this area. And we are proud.  Proud of how you have helped us get this far.  And who knows how far we can run now!

There may be something holding you back.  We know that feeling.  But please try to find the key to get put of jail.  Imagine how it would feel to be free of that prison.  And imagine, just imagine, how far you could go!

We want to thank you not only for your RECENT support, but for all the prayers, love and encouragement that we know you’ve given us.

We have some big hurdles still to overcome, including surgery and more but the good news? After almost four years of papers and appointments and no’s, we received a YES  on Tuesday to officially stay in Italy AND to be able to travel to other countries as well, including the USA to further our mission to Make Rescues The Breed Of Choice!! One day at a time. But maybe, things are looking up! Thank you, thank you!

Many have asked how to support us this week.  Groceries are extremely needed and mold removal supplies at www.tinyurl.com/2tdnecessities
