This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. Just a reminder that I’m not a real raccoon. I just like to sneak up on people like one.

You know what else sneaks around here? I don’t know. Because I don’t know what they are. Last week, we started seeing these shadows. They appeared by the waterfall first. And then they were gone. The shadows were long. There were two of them.
Then, Boy Person saw the end of a tail go into a hole. Sneaking around. The shadows were sneaking around and now they had tails too.
When you are the news ones in a neighborhood, you watch and observe a lot to find your place. And we have no idea what’s going on here in the person world or the animal world. It’s a lot to take in. And the shadows sneaking around remind us of this.
Are they weasels? Or ferrets? What kind of animals do they have here besides Fruitycake the Raccoon now? We have to find out. Why?

Learning about others and where they live is important. It makes the earth in that place special. It makes things called cultures and differences. All of that make things interesting. Mysteries and learning and shadows make life worth living.
It’s easy to get caught up in surviving daily life. We know this for sure. It’s hard for us right now in many ways.

But seeing the world still has mysteries and shadows is fun. Shadows sneaking around? I’ll find out who you are.
I’d like to introduce myself. I’m Fruitycake The Raccoon.
