This is Fruitycake. This week, the days will fly by for our family. We have just a few days together…us three. We have been a package deal everywhere and every day since my persons brought me home from that shelter place. We haven’t spent one day apart. But in just a few days, Girl Person has to travel for surgery and she will be gone three weeks. That’s a long time for a person. And it’s an even longer time for a dog like me.
But when I’m nervous or sad, and that’s not very often, because I’m Fruitycake, I like to do something for someone else. I like to encourage people. I like to bring happy to others and that makes me happy.
Maybe you hear my bell in videos. I wear it to scare the wild pigs. But i also wear it to make people smile when they hear me coming. I like them to see ME. By making their day a little better, it makes me feel better. So today’s affirmation is one we can say together. Ready?
No matter what I can’t do today, I CAN make someone smile. I can make someone’s day better. Not everyone will try to brighten someone’s day. But I will! I will be happy to make someone else happy today!
