See You Soon, Boy Person

This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. Once again, just a reminder that I’m not a real raccoon. I just get to fly like one. Oh wait. That’s a squirrel.

That’s right. Tomorrow, me, Girl Person and Brickle will be on the first transatlantic flight on Bark Air. This is happening.

We did have quite a few setbacks this week. Brickle wasn’t feeling good. And that worried us. But then he started feeling better.

Then, our paperwork was late. We didn’t get our vet treatments. And so we have to go back today. Boy Person will take us there. And then, he bring us back. And then he will leave again for the airport to take his flight out. We have to say bye to him. But I prefer see you soon. It’s going to be hard. That whole night without him. He’s kind of my buddy.

He’s kind of Girl Person’s rock. He’s kind of Brickle’s safe place.

But to save money, this is what we had to do. And that’s what you do when you are working towards a goal. You get done what needs to be done. If you truly want it to happen. Or you can be a dog and watch everyone do that.

If I said we weren’t nervous, I would not be truthful. And remember, dogs can’t lie.

Girl Person is more nervous we are comfortable. But she thinks this worked out the best that it ever could have.

Sometimes, you have to wait for your dreams to come true. And it’s hard to trust the process. But remember. Some things you can control. Most things you cannot.
