This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. I have kinda noticed something lately. They called me a stray dog without a home when I was found by my persons at the shelter. Without a home. But lately, uh, look at us. We have no home. And we are roaming around. Staying where we can. Am I a stray dog again? Who am I?!

I know I’m not, obviously. Because home isn’t just a place. It’s who you are with and who you are loved by and love back.

I don’t need one place to call home as long as I’m with my family. And it’s a good thing. Because we don’t have any choice right now. We have no home and no car except ones we borrow. And I’m not mad about it. It’s kind of fun!

Today, we are headed to that Tennessee place. The persons say we need to save money. And so we found a place to stay at in Chattanooga, but there is a catch. You have to share. And I haven’t told Brickle that yet. He’s not the best at that. Surprise, surprise.

Girl Person booked a place called a hostel. You get your own room and your own bed. But thats it. You have to share bathrooms and a kitchen. And if you want to watch TV, you better share a couch with ones you haven’t met before. I wonder if they will know the answer to our nightly question of what is in your glass and who is on your couch tonight? It will be me, y’all.

Sharing is caring at a hostel. So you can’t be hostile. You are happy saving money. And you just have to be friendlier and wear pants. Digby would hate that.

This is going to be an adventure for sure. And we have a long drive. A very long drive. Today we drive 10 hours to get there. And we have some fun things planned this weekend. Wanna go with us to a party shin dig with Boy Person’s family? We can take you. Please.

It’s going to be a fun few weeks traveling while we sort out the details of that Italy place. There is going to be a lot going on. So try and keep up. And let’s have some fun again!
