This is Peanut Butter Brickle. So many had a hard year, didn’t they? When last year started, maybe you had high expectations.

Maybe you thought things would be different. Actually, there’s no maybe about that.

But did you know that there is always, always something to be thankful for? We want you to know today that we are so very thankful for all of you. You make up part of the big picture of our lives.

Despite all of the bad things happening last year, you helped us to raise over $20,000 for our rescues of the month.

Every dollar, every share of a social media post and every comment helped to do that.

You all played a part! All of you.

And despite everyone’s lives being changed, every weekday, you read our blog.

You sent us emails. You encouraged me and Digby to keep writing.

And you helped us.

You helped our family personally by encouraging us. How can we ever thank you? We are grareful for you.

We know that we’ve all become family since we started this blog in 2011. We will be here as long as you’ll have us. And if you don’t know this already, please read this. You keep us going. Without you, without every single one of you, our lives would be very different.

If you helped an animal this year by fostering or adopting, thank you.

If you helped a spider out of your house to live his best life, thank you. If you spoke up for an animal, thank you.

Even though we couldn’t travel as much as we hoped to last year, we were able to be together and still safely see some pretty amazing sights.

We hope this year will be easier for us all. But never forget, don’t look past the good things of today wishing for tomorrow. It’s wonderful to have hope. But it’s also wonderful to have appreciation. Pride in that we all made it through 2020 together.
