The Furesta Fiesta

This is Digby Pancake. When was the last time you had a party?

When was the last time that you went to a fun party?

When do you think you’ll be able to go to a party again?

This is a question I can’t answer. I wish I could, but in many ways, persons can’t do everything that they want to do lately. And I’ve heard some of them say that they feel like they’re living the same day over and over again.

I know how that feels, actually. Lately, we haven’t been traveling as much as we want to because of the problems in the world. We’ve been making plans. And getting ready. But when you’re used to moving around every couple of days, it sure can feel strange to not move much at all.

So the persons were talking about things they missed. Normal things they used to take for granted. Like going to a restaurant.

A Mexican restaurant to be exact.

Or Restaurante Mexicano. They talked about the fun music. And the food.

And Girl Person had an idea. She always has an idea.

Since they were making due, maybe they should DO something fun!

Like pretend they were at a Mexican restaurant!

And the fun thing about this restaurant would be that dogs were allowed too! It would be a Furesta Fiesta!

Some may think that pretending to be in a Mexican restaurant when you’re really in a barn your RV is parked next too wouldn’t be normal. And it’s not.

But when you’re having a Furesta Fiesta, it makes total sense.

It makes about as much sense as anything else going on right now.

And when it was time for tacos and barkarita cakes for the pups, you can bet we forgot we were making due. And when this is all over, I’m not sure there will ever be a better party anyway.
