This is Deputy Digby Pancake. Do you ever wake up and wonder where you are? Yes. That happens to us all of the time.

You never know where the Big Blue Treat Wagon RV is going to take you.

Apparently, we are headed somewhere cooler named the Georgia place next week. But for now, where am I? I wondered that when I looked out the window this morning. I definitely wasn’t at the farm. I didn’t see Jack or the antelopes. I didn’t even smell the farm. Only myself.

The truth is, even if we have been parked a little while like we were at the farm, the persons can still wake up and wonder where we are. Not a location, but where we are in life.
Sometimes it seems like everyone has life figured out. They know what they want to accomplish and where they want to be. But we don’t feel like that. We don’t feel like we have life figured out at all. We don’t feel like we know where we are going. We wonder what the future holds, but life seems to keep going without a chance for us to figure anything out.
Do you ever feel like that? When we are on a trail, we have to follow the signs and we are looking for a destination. But if we are in a big field, we can go anywhere.

And maybe that’s the persons’ problem. But I wonder if not knowing where you are is indeed a problem. Really.
For some it is. If you’re wondering where you are all the time, you can’t enjoy the moment you are in.
For some, not knowing where you are has freedom. They don’t worry about where they are. They just shine where they are. And that’s me.
Don’t ever think everyone else has it all figured out.
We all question where we are.
But when we appreciate that we are alive and see what’s good around us, perhaps one day we will get to where we are supposed to be. Happy.

Last day to purchase your mask! Choose Brickle or Digby…or both!

2 things you wrote (I mean, Digby) that struck me. If you wonder where you are all the time you can’t enjoy the moment. And for some not knowing is a sense of freedom. These conflicting feelings – it’s really two different personalities. You’re so fortunate (your freedom, your mission) and yet you’re so unsettled – I envy you and then I don’t. Many a fan wishes they could just roll on without a care. How many could face the unknown everywhere you go? Thinking of you today and wishing you peace. Keep on being good to yourself tho. You deserve it.
