This is Fruitycake. Even though Girl Person is feeling terrible and molto terrible as we say here, I can’t type with these paws until they invent a keyboard for dogs, or a phone for dogs.
That being said, I have told her I don’t have a million words to say today, because she really needs to rest. It’s not just me saying that. She has something called a concussion from her fall.
Now normally, Girl Person is a bit, well, air headed.
But the last few days, she keeps forgetting things and having bad headaches and she’s more tired than usual. Boy Person didn’t want to tell her what to do, but he had to finally say she needed to get some medicine. And so today, she saw someone and she has to take her medicine.
If you know Girl Person, you know she doesn’t see anyone for help when she is sick, because she says things happen like what happened with me and the wild pig. And she would rather me be ok.
Although I appreciate it, no one likes to see someone being dizzy and confused. What if she forgets to feed me or that I like pizza? That can’t happen on my watch.
She said asks me, “guess what, chicken butt?” I don’t know. I told you she’s a little odd.
But now I’m saying to her, “now what, chicken butt?” Because I am her best friend. It’s my job to help her since Brickle has been gone. And it’s my job to lay down the law in honor of Sheriff Brickle
Now what? Rest today, after medicine. If I can get her to see that I won’t be taken care of if she’s sick for too long, maybe she will do it for me. Whatever it takes.
The accident with her head into the glass was just that. An accident. I didn’t mean to get scared. I didn’t mean to pull her down. The delivery driver didn’t mean to make that loud noise, and she didn’t mean to fall. But now it’s time for her to see the lesson in all of this.
Guess what, chicken butt? It’s time to rest.

Yes, Fruity. You and BP make sure she gets proper care. A bang on the head can lead to a really bad outcome if you don’t see a doctor and get proper care right away. And we don’t want that! So, make her rest and don’t let her do too much. We will wait. As always, when the blog is held up for some reason, we’re still here when you get back.
