This is Fruitycake. I’m gonna tell you one thing. And I’ll also tell you another. And then after that, I’ll tell you nothing. Because you won’t want me to.
Yesterday was a day. A long day in many ways. We had to go into the city to get fuel for our heaters. It’s going to rain again and get even colder.

So we had to go. We took the bus and the train. And all seemed to be going well. When that happens, sometimes, it’s a time to worry.

I was very excited to be going somewhere. I do like variety in life.
Some may call it the spice of life. But not too many spices for me. I have a sensitive stomach.

And apparently, even water can make you wanna call your mother for help when it hits you like a deluge in a train station.
Boy Person was done shopping for his fuel and supplies. And he had his stuff piled on a cart.

Yes. People may look at us a bit strange when we have giant rolls of paper towels, paint and two loaves of bread on public transportation.

But that wasn’t the cause of wonderment from others that day. You see, when you are carrying mountains of supplies, you have to take the elevator to get to the train platform. And I wasn’t too keen on that. Due to my strenuous activity of the morning, I had just slurped up two bowls of water. And boy. Oh boy. That elevator made me remember my mother’s phone number to call for help.
Because the persons weren’t listening to me. And as we stepped off that elevator with our paper towels and paint and two loaves of bread, the deluge of all deluges came out in that train station like no other. I’d like to thank everyone in my family for not understanding much Italian. Because words were spoken by passerby’s that day.
What came down that day was the persons’ embarrassment and wonderment at how such a little dog named Fruitycake could make such a mess. I was ok. Don’t worry. I watched as the persons tried to clean up as much as they could. And also ran away thereafter.
It was a tense ride on that train and then the bus. They weren’t sure if it would happen again. And it didn’t to me. But. The day wasn’t over. As the persons started putting stuff away and cleaning up, Girl Person did some dishes. But the pipes got clogged. Not unlike my own.
Boy Person tried to unclog it. But it just wouldn’t work. I sensed some negative energy. But hey. I’m no scientist.
So he decided to go outside and do something with the pipe. It was dark. Real dark. But he could still feel the deluge of old spaghetti and risotto raining down on his head.

What came down that day was many things. But it all pretty much came down to this. Life can be tough. Life can be rough. Life can be messy. And if you let it get to you, it will.
Don’t let a bad day stay on you till tomorrow. Wash it off today.

I don’t understand, did Fruity get sick or did the pipe that was clogged open up and spill over Boy Person?
