This is Peanut Butter Brickle. Life sure tastes good sometimes. Yes. There are times you may get burnt meatloaf.
But there are also times when you get fish and chips.
And you know what? We are going to where they eat a lot of that. And I’m excited. Well. As excited as I get.
Fruitycake doesn’t have as refined of taste as I do. He’s still learning how to ask for what he wants and not just scarf everything down. You know, sometimes, my taste is so refined I only will eat if I’m hand fed.
Fish and chips. Yea. I know a dog like me should have special fish and chips that are healthy. But you can bet Girl Person will take care of that.
Since the persons are what you call vegan, they won’t eat it. But I’ll enjoy it for all of us. And you know what? I think I’ve earned to enjoy the little things in life.
Some may not think that fish and chips are important. Or other little things in life. But to me, the little things are the best things. The things we look forward to the most. The things we remember.
I know it’s going to be a lot of work to get there the next week and a half.
Many things have to fall into place. But we won’t remember all the work or things that went wrong. It’s the good things…like fish and chips that will help us remember why we wanted to do this in the first place.
So if you’re forgetting the little things in life that you used to enjoy, stop today. Treat yourself. Even if it’s a little thing. You’re a big part of this world. So take care of you. Find your fish and chips.
