This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. I have kept you in suspense long enough. I suppose I’ve kept the whole world in suspense for too long.
As I told you yesterday, the persons did a dog dna test on me. They analyzed me by my licking a swab. And when they got thru all the crumbs, which was appropriate, because my name is Fruitycake, well, they found out what breeds I am.
First and foremost, I am a rescue. That is all that matters. But it sure is fun to learn about what breeds make me up. Just like when persons like to learn where they came from.
So here it is. The news you’ve all been waiting for.
They breed I am the most of is…Dalmatian!
Next, I am Australian Cattle Dog! Also known as a Blue Heeler!
Then, I am Chow Chow!!
And the fourth biggest part of me is Boxer!
Now, there are a lot of other breeds mixed in like 1 percent and 2 percent. Just like the spices that make up a fruitcake, they all matter! And they are…Brittany Spaniel, Cocker Spaniel, Chihuahua, American Eskimo, Labrador Retriever, Samoyed, Collie, German Shepherd, Beagle, French Bulldog, Bull Terrier and last but not least, Doberman Pinscher!!
I definitely feel special. Not because of the breeds I am on a test. But because you love me. Because Brickle loves me. Because my persons love me. Love is a very big part of who we are, what we want and what we should be.
I may be just a shelter dog to some. I know that. Not everyone wants to rescue. And I wish they could see that although sometimes we may be a mix of many breeds, we all want the same things in life. I hope that one day rescues are the breed of choice. Like Digby always wanted.

Well Fruitycake I really only got one right! Blue Heeler! I thought of Dalmatian this morning, but I had not put it in my list and only because of the spots on one! You are not just a rescue you are an adorable beautiful sweet boy and I love you to pieces! Rescue has always been my breed of choice! Have a beautiful day boys and your persons!❤️🥰🐾

Wow!!! You are quite the perfect mix Fruitycake. How exciting to find out what you are. Rescues are the best. What test did your people use? We have a new puppy and think we should find out what kind of wonderful mix she is .
