This is Fruitycake. On Sundays, I have a little more time to think.
Persons move slower.
The vibe seems to be of balance between what the persons want for every day and really…what life was meant to be all of the time.
Since I have more time to think today, I was wondering if I notice all the things that I should about others.
For me, my job is to make sure Girl Person is ok. Brickle left that up to me.
I always make sure to let her know that I’m interested in her mood. By bopping her with my nose. Or barking. Yeah. Barking always helps.
But I also was thinking that today, we all can do more than just ask others how the weather is.
Or how they are doing. In this Italy place, when you ask someone how they are doing, prepare to really hear the answer. And that’s how it should be.
Sometimes, asking someone a specific question you’re concerned about, like if they have enough to eat for the day or warm clothes for the week is needed. And appreciated.
Sometimes, people don’t want to bother others. But we all need help. For sure, that’s been us lately.
So this week, make it a point to really find out how that friend or family member really is that you’ve been thinking about.
Put the thoughts into action. And just maybe, someone will ask you too.
