This is Digby Pancake. What would you do today if today was your last day?

I know it’s a heavy question. Especially with all that’s happening in the world. But I want you to think of this question despite all that is happening in the world.

Yes. I’ve had my share of sick days. But despite it all, when I make it thru, I appreciate the day after. Because it’s a gift.
And so today, imagine if my gift to you was living one more day to the full. Yes. That’s right. An unexpected day. Another day. One more day on this beautiful earth.

Wouldn’t that be a wonderful gift? What would you do with your extra time? Who would you spend it with?
The funny thing is, when we wake up, most of us get that gift. But we don’t think of it like that.

Because there are too many things to help us forget.
We had a dear friend who didn’t get that one more day gift this week. A dear friend who meant a lot to us.
And others out there who have friends and family and ones that love them have lost their gift of another day lately.
A gift of another day may not come with instructions. But don’t procrastinate.
Because if we think about how we would spend it, it can help us to recognize what’s important. Truly. Think of how you would spend it.

Don’t wait until your gift doesn’t get delivered. Open it today. And cherish tomorrow. If you have fences to mend with someone important to you, do it.
If you simply haven’t told someone how much you love them, do it.
Use all your days like you value them. Like you value others. Like you value yourself.
