Necessity Is The Mother Of A Paper Towel Tie

This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. My persons have so many sayings. Like necessity is the mother of invention. I have no clue what that means. So I asked Brickle about it because he knows it all and everything about it all.

He said that when you have a problem and you don’t have the money or the materials or the way to make it happen, you have to figure out a way. And so you have to invent something. Like a paper towel tie.

Now, you may have never heard of a paper towel tie. Me neither. But when you have to go to a last minute wedding on that phone zoom thing and you’ve backed all your two ties to ship to that Italy place, you either don’t wear a tie. Or you try to make one out of something you have. Do you know Boy Person? If so, you know what he did.

Now, the paper towel tie may not be sought after by Dolce and Gabbana.

Or Dior.

Or even the Dollar store.

But in this house which we don’t own and are just paying to stay here with an alligator, it was the rage. All the rage. Fashion defined yet disposable.

No one knew that Boy Person’s tie was made out of paper towels. And I’m sure if they did, the wedding may not have went on due to everyone looking at Boy Person instead of the bride.

What I’m saying is sometimes we have solutions but until we are forced to go beyond our comfort level of thinking, we may not see a way. If you can believe in yourself and your ability to navigate thru life’s tough situations, you’ll be surprised at what you can come up with.

And if others don’t understand? That’s ok. Not everyone has the same solutions to life’s problems. That’s why we all don’t live in a house we don’t own with an alligator.

And that’s a good thing.

An update on that Italy place? We are definitely having to make lots of paper towel ties in life.

This week we need to go see vet persons to make sure we are ok to fly. And get some papers. And Boy Person has to wrap up the few things we are taking to that Italy place that’s going to go over by boat. But you know we will have adventures in between!! Stay tuned
