Sometimes, you know that you need a change. You know that you want a change. You wait for it. You long for it. But when it actually happens? You panic.

Yep. We started out the week with the Big Blue Treat Wagon. But we aren’t ending the week with the Big Blue Treat Wagon.

After over four years of adventures, they end with the Big Blue Treat Wagon in Rocky Face, Georgia.

Our last trip will be Friday to drop her off at that Camping World place in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

And our whole family is going to say goodbye.

As Girl Person was crying yesterday as she was packing. Boy Person told her that they were making the right decision.

He said that the decision to keep traveling for the next year had to come with changes. Changes to make it easier on us and changes to travel more comfortably as we get older. And she agreed. But it is still hard to say goodbye.

When we first saw the Big Blue Treat Wagon, we knew she was our home.

We had no idea all of the adventures we would go on.

But she felt like home. Does someone feel like that to you?

The Big Blue Treat Wagon has worked hard for us. She has kept us safe.

She has been a comfortable place to go back to, wherever we are.

And we know her next family will appreciate her too.

Boy Person said we should appreciate things while we have them.

We should take care of them. But we shouldn’t put so much value on things that they take the place of individuals and experiences.

Even if we know something won’t last forever, it doesn’t take away the joy.

As we pack up all of the last few years in this Big Blue Treat Wagon today, we will make one final drive with her tomorrow.
