This is Fruitycake. I have received a lot of well wishes this week about my paw.
It sure did hurt and it still isn’t all the way better. But that’s ok, because I know just by your love and your messages and your support that you helped me get to this point.

I’m even hoping that I get to take a bus to school with Girl Person tomorrow.
Wishing someone well. Sure does seem like a simple thing to do. But it isn’t so simple. Like that dog that bit me last week, or the scorpion that got in my dog bed, or the pea that found its way into my dinner bowl, those things didn’t wish me well. But I did to them. I also ate that pea, though.

I know that things we wish on others matter. And when we don’t wish anything at all, and we are complacent, that matters too. If we don’t wish well for everyone, truly everyone, what kind of persons are we?

If you’ve lost count of the number of times you’ve visited 2 Traveling Dogs this year, we hope that means it’s given you at least $5 of joy. Please join the 2% of readers who give what they can to help keep this blog available for all.

Even if you don’t know someone right in front of you, you can still wish well for them. Someone in a different country or an animal far sway.
You can wish well for someone you don’t know exists that they have a good day, or you can wish for the stars to burn bright, the fireflies to twinkle and for the waterfall to flow.
All the waterfalls. Does this matter? You get it does.
Brickle taught me that there is so much to see in the world. He traveled to many places and learned so much.

But he told me that the world is a lot smaller than we know. And yet, we can make a bigger difference than we know.

What happens when a group of people spend a day like today, wishing someone well? Let’s see.
Tell us who you pick. I pick you. Let’s see what happens…

I will wish my neighbors well today. One of them is always helping me with things around my house. A good friend.
