This is Fruitycake. Well. Let’s get the yuck out of the way. Right away. Girl Person is a bit under the weather with a sore throat and headache. But she’s a trooper. A super trooper!
And before she gets any worse, she is going to head into town today to get groceries and supplies. And tea. And soup. Lots of soup.
Now that’s out of the way, I hope you saved up some good cake. Some good fruitcake.
Some good party hats. Some good celebration equipment for some good news.
Some very good news! The test results from the Italian language test that they took in September came back yesterday.
They both passed! They passed their tests! Both of my persons! Molto bello!!!!!!! Bravissimo!!!!!!
Now. I had faith in them all along. And you probably did too.
But everyone else can have all the faith and the good vibes in the world. But if you don’t have faith in yourself and believe in yourself, it doesn’t mean much.
But maybe, you’ve been accustomed to not feeling good. Maybe you have had lots of disappointments. Or grief. Or you’re harboring resentment. Maybe you let your past come up all of the time and let it define your future. Is that happening? Oh, it’s ok. It’s the easiest thing to let happen. It takes courage and strength to believe in yourself when you don’t.
I’m hoping that the test results get my persons to believing in themselves again. I’m hoping they see that they can do this. That they want to do this. The helping of the house and the land and themselves and also others. But first. They have to believe!!
Test results are just the start.
Let’s study up how to heal.
And maybe we can all help each other now!
What does this mean as far as us staying and papers? We don’t know yet. Stay tuned.
