This is Peanut Butter Brickle. If there is one thing I’ve learned lately, it’s that I don’t know as much as I thought. In fact, when I was younger and had less experience in life, I thought I knew it all.
Now that I’ve had lots of experience, the less I seem to know.
As we are in a transition to moving to that Italy place, we are making the most of our time here.
And it’s fun to learn. It’s fun to realize you aren’t as smart as you thought.
We are all just learning the ropes.
To me, learning isn’t just about facts or winning a game.
Learning is realizing that others and how they live, although different from yours, is what real knowledge is.
Like the dude ranch we are at now in this Jasper, Georgia place.
I know I love cows and horses. But here, the cows and horses are their lives.
Every day it takes lots of care and lots of time to live like this. And although I wouldn’t want to do that all the time, to them, this is their dream life.
Their dream is not that Italy place like our persons.
But this is where they want to be. And I think that’s wonderful. That we all can choose a dream.
We are all just learning the ropes. We don’t have to agree with someone else’s way of life. But we can give them the respect to choose it.
We can all learn from each other.
And I plan to do some learning with Fruitycake at this ranch.
We have lots to see. And lots to learn. We hope you’ll learn the ropes right along with us.
