This is Fruitycake. If there is something that I’ve learned in just the past year, it’s that persons can survive on much less than what they think.

Less things. Less news. Less stress. Up here on top of the mountain, it’s like another world. We would feel fortunate to be here, no matter where on the earth it was.

Because persons have divided the earth into names of places. And we think the whole earth is our responsibility.
You think I’m deep today, huh? I was taught by the master, Brickle. He would love me to call him master!

Just because on the outside I smile and joke and make everyone laugh, that doesn’t mean that I don’t see our problems.

But when I look around, and when you look around, you can either choose to see the bad and look for it, like what you choose to see such as the news. Or you can look for the good like the sky and the waterfall and a fridge that has food in it. My perfect fridge would have many pizzas.
The thing is, just like what I choose to bark at, like that pesky ball, you can choose what you see or don’t see today. It’s ok to take a day off like my persons did yesterday when the stress got to them. They realized it was making them sick.

Today is a new day and a new chance to think about what you put in your heart. Because it’s goes thru your eyes and then your mind on the way there. Remember when you were a little person and the joys of simple things were the best. You’re still that person. And if like me as a puppy you didn’t get a chance to enjoy what you should have, embrace that little person, give yourself a hug and do better today.

Thank you for having faith in us and our long term mission, to make rescues the breed of choice worldwide. We are almost to our goal to keep the blog running for April. It costs us time and resources that we have never passed on to our readers and have kept the blog free. We would like to continue to do that.
The blog has been possible for a decade for free, but it’s only by support from our readers that it can continue. We have so many fun surprises planned and a wildlife projects! Less than 2% of our readers contribute.
If you’d like to help us continue this cause and mission which includes blogs, videos and more, you can contribute any amount here. We cannot do this without you. Head to https://tinyurl.com/Fruitycakeblog to help!
