This is Fruitycake. Today is the weekend. But the rain is still working overtime here in this Italy place.

All week, the rain has poured down.

Even though rain is needed and can be beautiful, there can be too much of a good thing. Unless we are talking about pizza or focaccia or spaghetti, you know.

The persons were talking. And I always listen because I have to know how to help them each day.
They asked each other if they thought they still would have moved here if they would have known about the cold and the rainy months.
They asked each other if they would have made the decisions to come here if they would have known the sacrifices and the amount of work.

I had been wondering the same things. But a dog can’t really ask. I knew my answer. Yes.
Why? Because Brickle wanted to make it here to his house. It meant everything to him. That’s just one reason.

The waterfall. We hiked for miles and miles and drove for days and days to see waterfalls over the years. It was one of Brickle and Digby’s favorite things to watch. Mine too.
And now, we have a waterfall on our property.

We have Fruity Falls and Brickle and Digby Falls. And it’s not something to take lightly. It won’t let you. And on the days when it rains the most, it is the most strong and the most beautiful. It gives strength to us. When we need it the most.
And today is one of those days.
We keep hoping that spring is around the corner. But for now, we have to deal with what we have to deal with.

We don’t have a choice but to accept what the waterfall gives to us. Hope that we can make a home for us and for the wildlife.

Hope that we can make more of a difference for the animal and people helping the animals around the world.
Hope that there are better days ahead. Because without hope, we can’t try.
And there is always more of a chance things will get better than worse. That’s how I think. And I’m a dog. So listen.

When you need the most strength in your life, look to something for hope.
Rely on the power of hope. Get your strength from within, knowing you can weather the storm. We will too.

Thank you, Fruity for the need for all of us to hope in something. I hope that I could to feel good and stay healthy even at my age. I hope that Spring is right around the corner. It’s raining now and it’s beautiful even though it’s cloudy. I hope my country will survive the next four years and because I hope that we will find the people to turn us back towards good times. Have a great weekend, Fruity! Love you!❤️❤️
