Making The Bed

Thank you for making this blog possible, but we truly can’t do it without your support! Thank you for your support here

This is Fruitycake. My job never ends. Yours probably doesn’t either. And every time you think you know what your job is in this big world, it changes.

Like mine this week.

I have a secret. You may see the persons working very hard. And they sure do.

Help us with this mission here!

During the day, they never stop, because the work doesn’t stop.

But the Depression Monster works hard every day. And especially in the morning. Even though they go to bed pretty early, they can’t seem to get out of bed excited.

Boy Person gets up first to make that mud in a cup stuff.

But Girl Person has a really hard time. And up until this point, I’ve let her not get up too. I’ve let her not make the bed. She needs to make the bed.

Why? She needs to start her day when it starts and not go back to bed. Not let the Depression Monster pull her under those covers. Because no matter if someone else knows you get up and make your bed, you do.

Life may be harder on for some. But one thing is for sure. We all go thru hard times. And we all can get thru hard times. But it starts with little things like making your bed. Taking your dog for a walk. Going outside.

Whatever making your bed means to you, why not start just a little earlier today. Why not? You’re worth the extra effort to live your best life. You really are.

Fruitycake

This is Fruitycake. Everyone needs a house. Even the bats here. Boy Person has been working so hard on the bat houses and those are our first wildlife projects here.

He cut trees and even made the logs from hand. Everyone who has donated to our blog for February and March will have your name on a roof tile for the bat houses. Honestly, we just haven’t had much support. But you know what?? Girl Person will be making those roof tiles and will all be done this weekend. Our blog really needs your support to continue 7 days a week, and to be able to help animals and wildlife. If you want to help today, it would mean the world and you’ll be with us on our very first project here for wildlife! Just go to https://tinyurl.com/Fruitycakeblog

Fruity, I get up every morning and I make my bed, first thing. I have since I was old enough to do it. Even when I am sick, I make my bed and if later in the day, I’m tired, I will nap on the couch. The only time, I have ever gone back to bed was when I was really sick. Luckily, I haven’t suffered from depression, but my partner did and she did stay in bed to get away from the monster. Give Girl Person her space and time to deal from that monster.
