Clue #3-A Ship Is Safe In Harbor. But That’s Not What Ships Are Built For.

This is Sheriff Peanut Butter Brickle.  By this point in the week, perhaps you are craving spaghetti from Monday’s Blog.  Maybe you are craving fish and chips, or even mushy peas after Tuesday’s Blog.  Maybe you are craving a vacation to somewhere that you have always wanted to go.

Where is that place? And how would you get there?  Perhaps by plane?  Not me.  No way.  No how.  These paws were made for walking.  Not flying.

Maybe where you want to go you could get there by ship.  Maybe.

There are many ways to get to the places we want to go.  Some ways take longer than others.  But no one ever said, especially not me, that there is a better way than another.  As long as you have fun getting there.  We have been “getting there” for a few years in the Big Blue Treat Wagon RV.  But there are some places that it can’t go.  Like Italy.  Like England.  Just to name a few.

And it seems to me that in all of our travels, and all of the places that we have been so far, the Big Blue Treat Wagon RV has been working very hard.  They say that you should live a life that you don’t need a vacation from.  Well, what if you are the Big Blue Treat Wagon RV? How do you take vacation?

Taking care of yourself doesn’t mean me first. It means me too.  And all of us, including the Big Blue Treat Wagon are thinking that the exciting options we have ahead means a shift for the next few weeks.  A shift in the mode of travel.  The world is a book.  If you don’t travel, you don’t get past the first chapter.  And we still have some writing to do.

But even if you think you know where you want to go in life, you may think it is impossible to get there.  But have you really, really worked at finding a way how?  Whether by plane…by train…by ship?

Any ship is safe in harbor.  But that’s not what ships are built for.  Where do you want your ship to go? Where will our ship go?  Stay tuned to answers on tomorrow’s blog.

Uhhmmmm… You’re taking the BBTW across the ocean on a ship. Or maybe YOU’RE going to Europe on a ship. Or maybe you’re still just teasing us and you’re going places that have European city names. Or you’re moving into a house that looks like a boat. And you’ll have a pond for fishing so you can have fish and chips. And a spaghetti tree!!! Oh, well, I just don’t know what you’re gonna do. I’ll find out tomorrow.
