This is Fruitycake. Today, I go to the vet person. I’m pretty tired of not being my barky self. I bet you’re glad your ears got a break, though.
But just like a radio station that doesn’t quite come in all the way, eventually, you find one that does.
And maybe today, I’ll get my reception back to happy. And when I’m happy, I can make you happy.
But none of us can help anyone unless we help ourselves. I wish Girl Person would figure that out. But just like a math equation, she’s not very good at it.
But she does recognize it. And I think that’s a good start. You have to always start somewhere, don’t you?
When you go on a long hike, you always start somewhere, no matter how long the hike is. You have to start with one paw in front of the other.
My one paw? It’s been pretty irritating to me since the pig episode. Wow, that was an episode I don’t want to see a rerun of.
But I haven’t been able to shake the pain. Maybe there is some pain that you can’t shake either. But until you take care of it and yourself, you won’t be able to finish the best hike of your life. That could still be around the corner.
Because when you get help and help yourself, like when I go to the vet person today, you’ll make room in your life for better things. New experiences. Even new friends. Even liking yourself.
I don’t like to be hurt. And I want to be fruity. I want you to be fruity too.
So let’s go to the vet person today and get what we need out. Stitches are just the start.

Looks like an endless job. You guys must be exhausted by the time you can lay your heads down to sleep. Sure would love to see what the inside of the house looks like now.
