This is Deputy Digby Pancake. I have to say this. I don’t mind vacations. I also have to say that I know what you are thinking. Aren’t you always on vacation? I heard ya.
Yes, but sometimes you need a vacation from your vacation. And so today, it looks like while the persons are working and reporting from the Global Pet Expo, Sheriff Brickle and I will be on vacation from the persons at our Aunt Nikole’s house. It is about time that they did some work instead of us. Oh, I remember Aunt Nikole’s house.
But I know the neighborhood
And talk is cheap when the story is good
Although I am fond of spending time with my aunt, the truth is, any interruption to my food schedule is not something I appreciate. Girl Person knows this. So for days she has been packing our snacks and our dinner. She has also been packing our snacks in-between snacks and also after dinner snacks. It is a lot to pack I suppose.
You take it on the run baby

But if you say that we are worth all of the packing, you would be right. You see, although food is always better at home, taking it on the run offers many benefits as well. You get to eat it in new places with new smells to add to the ambiance. You get to sniff other things to cleanse your palate in-between the snacks. And also, someone else does the dishes. Although I love doing the dishes. I am an excellent helper.
Girl Person even packed our eggies, and as we drive to Aunt Nikole’s house this morning, we will eat breakfast in the car. I know, I know. It is not very proper, but I am not driving today and therefore it is not distracting unless someone tries to steal the mentioned eggies.
You know that I am trying to be positive, right? The truth is, there is no place like home. Even if you live in a Big Blue Treat Wagon RV. Sheriff Brickle tried to explain that in order for us to keep traveling, the persons have to go to work sometimes and that it won’t be too many hours. So I thought a little more. And I figured, hey. If we can pack our snacks and our dinner, we can sure pack some extra love to hold us over until the persons come to pick us up. I can definitely take that on the run.
Whatever you cherish the most should always be able to be carried in your heart. So pack it up today and carry it with you. Don’t mess around.
