Stronger Than Monsters

This is Fruitycake. Yesterday was kind of a sick day for me. I haven’t wanted to worry you because too much negativity can be worrisome. Worry and worrisome is not what I am about. That Allergy Monster bothers me as much as the Depression Monster bothers Girl Person.

Maybe you have a monster too. That monster has been with you a long time, huh? Brickle even had one. He had an Anxiety Monster.

The blog is in danger of continuing for April

That monster made him worry a lot, and the worry made him angry. Sometimes he would get mad all of a sudden. He told me that everyone has monsters, and sometimes it takes a long time to get rid of them. But that there is always someone to cheer you on if you ask. And that someone may even be the stronger you inside.

Yes, I did learn a lot from Brickle. And today is one of those days when me and Girl Person do need to be cheered on.

We are supposed to go into town for language school. That means buses and walking and talking. That means we have to have determination to even walk out the door today.

No one will write us a sick note. It’s up to us to make the effort. Me to get medicine and Girl Person to get better at being around people and talking. We won’t get better not going. And even though there is no guarantee we will get better BY going, there is the fact we can tell the monsters we are stronger.

You sometimes have to learn to stop the thoughts inside that tell you can’t. Or to stop listening to people that tell you that you can’t.

The monsters are simply not as strong as the you that is waiting to rise. Now. For me to get out of bed and actually go. Let’s do this!

I have the arthritis monster everywhere in my body and am constant pain and now the depression monster too as I lost my precious little Cam 3 weeks ago and all I do is cry. My heart hurts 😥💔 he was 17 and we had to make that horrific decision to let him go. My other boy Colby doesn’t want to eat because they were so close and his heart is broken too. I am so sorry you are having allergy symptoms again Fruitycake. I hope you can get some help with that. I hope GP will feel better soon too. You guys have gone thru so much and I am so sorry you have to work so hard. I wish you could get a car so you don’t have to take buses and trains everywhere. Please try and take it easy and be good to yourselves❤️🐾🙏
