This is Sheriff Peanut Butter Brickle.  Alas, our time in Iowa has come to an end.  We had a wonderful week here visiting some great places, relaxing and meeting nice people like the rescue we visited, AHeinz57 Pet Rescue And Transport.  We will never forget them, and hope to see what other great things they can do for animals here in Iowa.

The persons had an interesting week too.  They got to take us to some neat places in Iowa like those bridges in that romantic movie…you know the one I am talking about.  What a beautiful area and just like in the movies.  That movie would have been better though with Digby and I….just saying.

We also got to eat some really good food.  There is a sandwich here in Iowa called a loose-meat sandwich.  Yeah, and it’s good.  So good that Digby tried to eat mine too.  You can get the recipe here.

We got to visit a castle, and climb to the top. Who knew there were other things in Iowa besides farms and corn?  When you travel, you see so many things and learn so many things.  Like how a mouse can make havoc in a RV. In the Big Blue Treat Wagon.

So we have a visitor, a hitchhiker of sorts who has decided that he wishes to go to Illinois as well.  For five days now, he has randomly ran across Girl Person’s foot, fallen out of the ceiling onto Boy Person’s head when he tried to see where he was, stolen cheese and peanut butter and yes, my matzo.  All of this without getting caught.

The persons want to catch him alive.  As Sheriff, that is my duty too.  I am not John Wayne, although yes, we visited his house here in Iowa too!

So, here we come Illinois.  We are headed somewhere called Rock Island and it is going to be a long day of driving.  Hope the mouse puts on his seatbelt and has his snacks all ready to go.  Once we get to Illinois though Mr. Mouse, you had better get off board and head to your next home.  This Big Blue Treat Wagon isn’t big enough for all of us, and I can tell you this.  If Girl Person screams one more time or Boy Person runs out this door with only his underwear on, I won’t be the only one arresting around here.  Or getting arrested.
