This is Fruitycake. When you live in a dramatic and beautiful place, sometimes, well, dramatic things happen.
Many persons in this Italy place took the whole month of August off of work.
This is the last weekend of the month, but probably, it won’t be as busy. Because the rain monster is about to appear. We keep getting warnings and more warnings.
So Girl Person said that it’s her responsibility to make sure we have what we need for the next few days and maybe longer. But she is still bruised and sore from the mountain debacle on Sunday. So it was kind of hard for her to get going today. So I decided to assist.
When we got up, we did what we always do. We take a walk to the waterfall, we tell the birds good morning. And then, for the cherry on top?
I always stop and give her a kiss. But not just any kiss. I tell her I love her with my big brown eyes. I bet you didn’t know you could talk with your eyes, but you can.
And when she looked at me, and let herself feel the love, because that is key, she said she could do it. She said I need food. I need treats. I need my shampoo and my bread. And she said game on. It was a race for the face. My face.
You see, when you love someone, it doesn’t matter if there is a storm or sunshiney. You’re there.
It doesn’t matter if there light or darkness. You’re there. Love can make you move mountains everywhere.
If you allow yourself to be loved, you love in return. Is there someone trying to love you selflessly right now but you’re scared to feel it? Don’t be! Because love, true love, whether from a person or an animal, a bee or a butterfly can be what you need today. Keep going. Be loved.
