This is Fruitycake. I’ve always heard that the grass is greener on the other side.
But I don’t know if that is always true. I see other dogs and their lives. But they don’t have my particular and peculiar persons. I’m sure your dog would say the same. Sure, others dogs have grass. But not my grass.
But you know what else is true? The bathroom here that I don’t have to go in because my bathroom is outside is also green.
I see it glowing down the hallway. Thru the door. And I can’t imagine anyone else in the world would be choosing to try and paint a bathroom like the Mediterranean Sea except my persons.
One thing I’ve noticed since we got to this Italy place and this house is that my persons aren’t afraid to try new things.
They also aren’t afraid to create a house they want to live in. Because it’s our place and our vision and our art. And it’s home. Home.
Do you worry about the green on the other side? Do you worry too much about others and their lives? Are you concerned that others judge you and your green?
They might be. But what others think of you is none of your business.
What I mean by that is you can’t control what others think. And sometimes it’s better not hearing the critics.
Because your green may not be someone else’s color and it could cause you to doubt your vision. Don’t doubt your vision.
Your life is your life to live. That’s just it. Stop worrying about the critics who don’t like green and paint a life you want!
Love it because it’s yours.
You know what you need to paint. Now, pick up the brush.
