This is Fruitycake. I heard a lot of people in that United States place had a day off yesterday. I’m glad you got some rest or good food. I hope you got both. But if you didn’t, you can do that today, ok?
We had a good day here. I said day. Not night. I’ll clarify, and it will be easy to do so, because you need water for clarification and we have a lot of that.
Girl Person made the effort, and it was a very big one for her, to get her hair done.
I don’t know why persons think this is so important, but it is something called self care they say. Us dogs are absolutely the best at self care! When we are hungry, we eat.
When we are tired, we sleep.
When we want to run, we zoom!
I was proud of her and I was proud of Boy Person too. He made the effort to go get a few supplies in a town a train ride over. And he carried back his supplies. They both made it back up the hill just in time for lunch. And I had been tired and throwing up asked to stay home. I actually wasn’t tired, but I knew the rain was coming. And I don’t like to get caught out in it.
All is well that ends well, unless you end your day in bed and a deluge occurs in your sleep. Boy Person had spent so much time patching places where water came in before, but apparently the water found another route. One still to be determined. Today. After we clean up.
The persons aren’t very upset because this is all just a help. A help? Yes. A help before the real rain comes in October. We have opportunities do help us figure it out now. We won’t ignore the problems. Because they happen even if you’re sleeping.
In life, we can ignore things and ignore problems. But they are still there. Ignoring them doesn’t make it not be true. It still happens even if you’re sleeping.
Problems don’t always have to be solved in a flood of water like we have today.
They can be solved little by little. Step by step. Don’t sleep thru life with problems you wish weren’t there. Take care of them so you can be awake to the best years of your life now!
