Fruitycake’s Friday Affirmation 

This is Fruitycake.  I hope you had a good week.  I really do.  Some may say things like that just to be nice.  And that IS nice that they make an effort! But each one of us has to make sure we mean what we say.  And that is one extra step to take which makes all the difference in the world.

When we mean what we say, we can make a difference in someone’s day.  We can convey love, kindness and compassion.  We can help someone to feel worthy of love and sometimes, one sentence can save someone’s life.  So today’s affirmation is ready! Here we go! Say it with me, ok?

I will mean what I say today.  I will think before the words are said and know my intentions behind those words.  I will be the positive part of someone’s day today by giving them love or hope or encouragement.  I will mean what I say because I have worked on myself and I know that I have enough love for everyone.

Thank you dear family for your prayers and words said out loud to us this week.  They helped us more than you can imagine.
