This is Fruitycake.  Sometimes a time…a month…a day…an hour comes and you have to make a decision.  Right then.  

The decision may not even be as complicated as which way to go.  But the decision may be if you keep going at all.  

For us dogs, our decisions may be whether we keep walking in the rain or turn around.  That is a decision I face. It is tempting to not keep walking.  But my best walks have been when I kept going and the rain stopped.  I would have missed the magic that came with giving up.

Now it’s time for today’s affirmation.  Ready to say it with me? 

I may want to give up today for many reasons.  But I will not give up.  I will keep going, trying and I will do this not because I have to.  But because I want to.  I want to see what I am capable of and what can happen when I believe in myself.  I do believe in me.  Now! On I go! 

Please don’t give up today, dear family.  My Girl Person wanted to give up today for many reasons.  But I need her. And she will keep walking this time until she gets back to me. You can do it too! I love you.
