This is Fruitycake. There’s not much I want to keep out of my life. Experiences are what makes life worth living.
And I wake up every day wondering what it has in store for me.

Or what store I can go to for a new ball. I seem to go thru them like, well, water. Except I hate water and I love toys.

I also love pizza. Girl Person and I made ourselves a new routine. Every day, as long as it isn’t raining, we walk on a path to Portofino from our house. It’s about 2 miles each way.

And I’ve started to get to know the persons there like the man person who has the little store who calls me Torta di Frutta and gives me a slice of mortadella.
And then there is the store that gives me a little pizza. And they know me too.

Girl Person said Brickle would have absolutely loved going to a town every day to see people who knew him. He loved feeling important and for people to say hello to him. No matter what language. I miss him so much.

Although we did a lot of walking over the weekend to school and to get groceries, the persons also did a lot of work on a gate to keep dangerous things away from Brickle’s resting place.

And to keep persons out who get lost on our path. We don’t want them getting hurt. Yes. Sometimes you do have to keep things out.

I’m learning that life is a bunch of yeses and nos. And not many inbetweens.

When you say yes to something or someone in your life, you’re saying no to something or someone else. And when you say no, you’re saying yes too. Isn’t that confusing?

But there is only so much time and so many choices we have the time to make. So choose wisely. Today, I choose pizza.
