This is Sheriff Peanut Butter Brickle. If you are anything like me…which no one actually is…maybe you are tired of the cold.
I know what you are going to say. You’re going to tell me that it’s not too cold in this Florida place. And maybe you are correct. For you. But for us, give me an extra blanket. I’ve turned up the handsome as far as it will go.
Maybe you are dreaming of a tropical vacation somewhere. This beach body is a beach body anywhere I go.
The good thing is, when you have an imagination, you can really go anywhere you want to. And today, I have purchased for everyone a ticket to the islands. Any island. All the islands. Wherever it is warm! That’s where I am going. I’m over this. I’m ready to do some jammin.
Some persons may like the cold. And I have my moments too. But other times, you just need a barkarita. Sometimes, you need to do absolute nothing but put your toes in the sand and air those paws out. They’ve been cooped up too long.
I suppose that on this island where I am taking you, there is obviously endless supplies of peanut butter. But more than that, there is an endless supply of happy. You see, there is enough bad news. What we fill our minds and our hearts with everyday is important. You can have winter in your heart any time of year.
What we listen to, watch and talk about matters. It affects how we feel, how we act. It affects how we treat others and even carries into the next day. Season after season after season.
Sometimes, you have to buy a ticket to warmth and happy and take with you as many as you can.
Yesterday, we decided that our island of happy was with old friends at doggy daycare. Where is yours?
Be an example of light and warmth and jam! Jammin with others is the best of all.
So who is with me today? I’ve got your ticket. Now let’s go!
