The Call With Fruity and a Gift From Girl Person
This is Girl Person. I first want to thank you all for your love and support and kindness and prayers…all the things! All the things you have done and given to us the last few weeks, especially. Because of your generosity and kindness, I’m in the states and preparing for surgery this Wednesday.
It wasn’t an easy decision as you know to leave Fruitycake and Nate behind for three weeks. I have to be transparent and let you know none of us are handling the separation well. But today is another day. And another opportunity to use this time to prepare for the future after this is over.
On a video call with Nate and Fruitycake, it hit me that I needed to use my experience somehow to encourage you today to look at your dogs WAY beyond any light you’ve ever seen them in. I know you love them. But please, today for me, if you are so lucky to have them with you today, can you do something extra and special for them?
Fruitycake is very emotional and we haven’t been apart…ever. So I please ask you to not worry about me and pray for Fruity! We will get thru this, I know that. And I know I had to have surgery. But it doesn’t make it easy. If you’re truly aware of how much our dogs do for us, thank you for knowing that! And for me, take today and cherish your day with them.
