No Match For The Rat
This is Fruitycake. Some days, you can’t win. Especially if you’re Boy Person. But if you’re a rat, you can win.

Boy Person had a rough day yesterday. You see, he was still working on the plumbing. They still have to take tea pot showers. And he was pretty frustrated to say the least. When you do something over and over again and it still breaks, I guess it can be frustrating. I wouldn’t know. I’m a dog and I don’t need to fix stuff.

He was also trying to get wood in the rain. Keeping warm around here is a full time job right now. Even for rats. Because as Boy Person was putting some wood away to dry, out came the rat.

The Rat is his name because he is THE Rat. Bigger than a rat should be. Taller than a rat should be. More determined to win the match than a rat should be.

Because when The Rat came out, Boy Person danced like a Boy Person should not dance. Trying to get away from The Rat. Then The Rat would try to get away from him. And if a disco was to be had in an an abandoned house up on a mountain in this Italy place, it would have been there.

When you’re The Rat you’re no match for anyone. And The Rat knew this. But it was still fun making Boy Person scream and dance. After about five minutes of excitement, the match was called. The Rat clearly was the winner and the wood was left to dry by itself.

Boy Person was pretty tired from the ordeal and went to take a teapot shower upstairs. There was no way to clean off the hurt of losing, but he was going to try. As he went down the stairs, he fell downhearted and then fell literally. Hurting the last bit of pride he had for the week.

Sometimes, others can hurt us and we carry it with us still. Even after what happened happened. The Rat was not going to lose that day. He won the match for sure and even later in the day. Don’t let others stick to you and weigh you down. You’re much stronger than those rats.

For those kindly asking, we are in need of necessities this weekend. We would like to get groceries (yes we have to go twice a week) and also perhaps a pizza lunch for Boy Person and a forced day off for him Saturday. Thank you for any amount at www.tinyurl.com/2tdnecessities
