This is Fruitycake. We’ve been a little off our game this week. I know you’ve noticed. I guess some weeks are like that. What’s funny is, the persons make up the things they must do. But what they don’t realize is that they should put forgiveness on their to do list.

I’m not going to fruity coat it. (I don’t say sugar coat because fruity is way better for you). The persons need to rest. But how in the world can you rest when so many count on you? Well, you try to keep going and lose your tomatoes.

The persons were pretty down in the mud. And they had got a few food items on their list. They were very grateful for those items. They set off back home on the bike. And bump after bump after bump kept getting them. Road work and traffic almost hit them. But they kept pedaling.

Then, all of a sudden, there came the biggest bump. And the tomatoes? They went flying like a nun.

Now, if you know Girl Person, you know she can never have enough tomatoes. And she stopped traffic and everyone to get them. Were they road kill? No way. She said they were gonna be washed off and not wasted. Nothing, and I mean nothing, goes to waste here.

Boy Person wasn’t too strong carrying stuff up the mountain that day. But hey, he had some water and even a fizzy water for Girl Person. Fizzy water is a luxury here on this mountain, and just like the tomatoes, Girl Person loves it.

She loved it so much she dropped it and fell on the path. And what happened? A hole happened. And a geyser shot io at them signifying their exploding dignity.

It was at this time that Girl Person just exclaimed she was tired. And she couldn’t go on anymore. But she had to. She still had to climb up the path.

Well, they cleaned off the tomatoes, put the water in another bottle and ate some bread and yep. Tomatoes. It wasn’t an easy day, but there hasn’t been too many of those here.

We don’t know what the future will bring here. We seem to be trying our best, but maybe we need to do more. Or less. We don’t know. So…

When you don’t know, and the tomatoes and water explode, it’s time to step back . And that’s what the weekend is for. Not stepping back from work, but from our negative thoughts. Well, not mine. Happy is my job.

We all can get overwhelmed. It’s ok to question what in the fruit we are doing sometimes. And it’s also ok to stop traffic for tomatoes.
