This is Fruitycake. Waking up. It’s hard to do sometimes.
Especially when it’s a little chilly outside. The blanket and bed is nice. In our case, you can’t make any sudden moves though. Otherwise the bed frames come tumbling down with Jack and Jill and everyone else.
But I love it when I stretch and fly down the stairs like Mary Poppins. I can’t wait to get outside and survey my domain. The trees dance to the wind and I’ve named them. Well, I haven’t named all of them yet. They still are learning to trust me and show me their personalities.
I have a knack of making everyone around here remember why you should be happy. There are more reasons to be happy than to not be happy. And there are many more reasons to wake up than not to wake up. And if you have the opportunity and blessing to actually wake up, don’t waste it. Ok?
That’s what I told the little ones yesterday. My persons were digging in the dirt and pulling up thorn bushes and rebuilding walls. Although the land is not even close to being all cleared, not even close, there is still an opportunity to plant as we go. We find that if you plant something, the weeds have less of a reason to come back.
So Girl Person got out her little seeds she has been saving. Tomato seeds and sweet pepper seeds and pumpkin seeds. But first, she said they needed to wake up. Wake up? I’ve never heard of seeds waking up. But I seized the opportunity to help. I am Farmer Fruity, after all.
Girl Person said they needed to be put in the sun to wake up before going into the ground. She said the sunshiney makes them grow and that they know they are cared for before being planted. Love can make miracles. And the little seeds? How miraculous are they?! I tell you, absolute miracles.
Wake up, little ones I said. Wake up. It’s time to be alive again. It’s time you live your next life of being another beautiful blessing to the earth. Also, I want to eat you later on. But don’t worry about that right now.
For all the little ones who need to be woke up today, consider this your message of sunshiney. If a seed has all it needs inside of it to make life, well, so do you. And I can’t wait to see what you can grow today.
What will it be? A blessing for you. For me. Lift your head to the sun and just have some fun. You were meant to be alive and not to hide.
