Vertigo. Is That The Sign?

This is Fruitycake. Me and Girl Person have been quite a pair the last few days.

My ear hurts so bad. And I hate when that happens, because I can’t bark as loud when my ear hurts. Who will bark at my treats and bread and pizza and eggies? No one, I tell you. No one.

And then Girl Person started getting her dizzy spells again.

One day, you can be on top of the world.

The next day, you want to be a full time astronaut.

Help here

I’ll be honest, because dogs always are. Girl Person is wondering if she can do this. If she is meant to do this project or if she is simply not good enough, capable enough or enough in general. She looks for signs like I look for a pizza sign.

She says she needs a sign that we are needed, or that others even think we do anything at all. She says maybe the truth is we don’t do enough, we aren’t enough. Maybe the signs are telling her something. Maybe we want to think we make a difference but that someone else may have done a better job here.

I know she’s tired. I see it in her eyes. I see it in how she tries to justify all she tries to do. I see it in how she struggles with missing family and friends and missing Brickle and Digby. I tell you this because I am honest.

Help here

I tell you this because it’s been too hard for her to voice. And when she did voice it today to Boy Person, I heard her voice crack and she lost her voice. And that didn’t sound good.

Today, I’m getting medicine and Girl Person too. I don’t know what signs she needs or what she needs in general. Maybe it’s just a rest but maybe she needs something more. I know we all go thru phases in life when we think we aren’t enough. I sure did. Maybe you have too. The fact is, no one can make us feel worthy except ourselves. No one can give us a sign or bail us out. We have to do it ourselves. We have to work thru it. And there is a lot of work to do here.
