This is Fruitycake. I’m sorry that the blog is a little bit late today. Girl Person got a bit of a stomach ache last night and then after our walk again. So I had to take care of her before I wrote to you. I appreciated your patience in this matter. Does that sound professional enough?
I’ve been pretty busy the last few days, even though it’s been raining and cold.

We have been working on a project for this entire year. And it started yesterday. Where we share stories and pictures of your rescue pets to our social media pages! Yes! Yours! Because we realized that in the world we live in right now, we need more happy. And if anyone has happy, it’s me.
The reason I started this project and thought of it with Girl Person was because my Gotcha Day is January 29th. And we want to do more this year. For everyone. Just like Brickle and Digby did.
That is why we are sharing your stories to encourage others to adopt in a fun way. It’s fun for me to read your stories. Keep them coming. It’s making me really excited for January 29th. Because I do want a party. I’ve worked really hard on the blog and keeping everyone positive. It’s been hard to do it all on my own.

But I keep going for you and my persons and animals. I want to. It makes me happy and it makes my persons happy. So. You are invited to my party!!
Girl Person says it’s going to be a surprise. But she told me one clue. It will include sticks. With your names and any names you want to be at my party to celebrate! You can get a personal stick with any amount and we will be emailing you a picture of your personalized stick! Yes. It was partly my idea. I’ll admit it. And including you was my idea. I’ll admit it.
I also think a couch may be involved in the video. But I don’t know for sure…you’ll have to wait and see at my party. It’s my party. And I’ll bark if I want to. I’ll also sit if I want to.
No matter how bad our world can seem sometimes, and it does, we have to remember work for animals never stops. It can’t. Because animals are the happiest part of a world that seems like it’s in chaos. And we all need happy. I need you. You need me. It’s my party and I’ll bark if I want to. Oh. And I want to.
We would like to share little stories of your pet to our page. Along with our daily rescue posts from shelters and rescues, we think there is more room for happiness. More room for Fruitycake happiness and joy. And that’s where you come in.

When you have the time, send us an email to yourdogsdiner@gmail.com. It can be any story (with pic) of your rescue pet. How you found eacb other, a favorite food, anything happy! You can even mention the shelter. We will pick out a few posts a week to share to our pages! (Yes. We reach millions per day and that’s a lot of persons.)
