Have you ever really thought about it? We may think about where we came from. We may think about where our family came from. But what about you? Where are you at now? Who are you?

It’s true. There are things that have shaped us.

There are things that we’ve been thru.

But are you forgetting that you’re still you? Are you letting the past hold you down?

I love crackers. Matzo crackers to be exact. We always have a supply.

But they are crumbly things. Fragile. Brittle. Kinda like me, I suppose.

But despite the matzo being fragile, it is delicious. And it is what it is. It is what it is and is proud to be a matzo.

Do we look at others and expect them to be something they are not? Do we expect ourselves to be someone we are not?

We are all individuals. We may have traits we were born with or events that we have been thru. But under all that, the ingredients of our personality, our likes and dislikes are our own. Realize our expectations of someone else may not be realistic. Nor kind. So be who you are. Be the best you that you can be. But no matter what, be accepting of others too.
