Let Me Show You!
This is Fruitycake. My Girl Person says when she was a little person, she used to bring things to school for “show and tell.”
It was a time when you could bring something you thought was worth showing off. She said the dead rattlesnake in alcohol that her Pappy gave her to take didn’t go over very well when she dropped it and it exploded all over the class. Lesson learned.
Some lessons, though, are learned the hard way, like the rustico. And how we can’t do it anymore.
But since we have come to that conclusion, we have to figure out how to find the right person. And we are working day and night to do that. Girl Person did all the work of getting it seen on those computer things. And guess what? We have our first showing today!
Someone who came here thirty years ago and wanted it is coming again now. They seem to really love it, and we hope they do see what it can be. I am going to put on my best Fruity show, you had better believe that!!! What should I do? Bark at balls? Ask for pizza? Roll in dirt? Throw a little Fruity tantrum for focaccia? What would work? I don’t want to be too over the top. They might fall off the mountain.
I don’t come with this place. I will have to make that known for sure. I have more places to go. I have more rescues to save with my persons. I have a big job, and I can sure do it! Now, let’s see what I can do today to make this happen.
Some things may seem impossible. Maybe for you too. But sitting back and doing nothing won’t make the impossible possible. So do the work. Even if it’s just one little step at a time.
And remember, your power is in believing. And I believe this can happen for us. And it can happen for you too!
