Change The Channel

Fruitycake’s Daily Affirmation 

This is Fruitycake.  This has been a busy week around this Italy place.  Mostly because the persons are trying to sell the rustico.  It’s going to take one very special person to find it and know it is theirs.  We have hope that very soon they see it.  We aren’t very patient.  Because we want to start our big rescue project in that United States place.

It hasn’t been easy for any of us to keep a positive attitude, because Girl Person is still recovering and has many more weeks of it.  We seem to be stuck in a bit of negativity.  Even me.  We can’t seem to change the channel of all stress all the time.  But it’s time to change the channel.  

Maybe you feel stuck this week.  Maybe you think you didn’t accomplish what you wanted to.  And maybe you simply didn’t.  But if you get stuck on that same channel of negativity that we have been watching, we might as well eat stale popcorn while we watch. No one wants that! So it’s time to say today’s affirmation with me! Ready? 

I don’t even like that channel that I have been watching.  I don’t like the show of negativity and I deserve a channel that celebrates my efforts.  I will change the channel today so that I can have a good weekend.  I will not give in to belittling myself for things I didn’t perform.  Instead, my channel is all celebration, all positivity, all the kind things, all the time.  

I love you dear family, and I am proud of you for trying this week.  Good job!

P.S. We have a difficult week ahead and could really use some help. We need groceries and household supplies today, and next week Girl Person has an important immigration appointment in Genoa. Because she is still recovering, we’re hoping to stay where there is air conditioning before and after the appointment so she can travel safely and avoid the extreme heat that has been making recovery more difficult.
