Important message:
This is Fruitycake. How big of a part are the joyful things in your life? I hope a real big part. I didn’t know how much sunshiney meant to me until we went days and days without it. I found out that it was a big part of making me feel good.
So I have been a bit down the last few days. But all of a sudden, I felt like a miracle happened! The sun appeared in the sky! It seemed so big to me in all the ways! It filled up the sky, its rays shined down on my pretty little head, and I felt like I was being charged up again!
I know that the winter monster is here. And he will be for a little while. So I’m going to have to learn how to live with him. But sunshiney? I sure do love you. You’re a big part of my happy.
Have you ever had someone in your life that felt as big as the sun? It may have been someone you always knew like your family.
Or maybe it was a friend you knew for a long time.
Maybe it was just someone you knew for a day, but that someone made a big impact for you.
When we loose someone as big as the sun, it’s hard to imagine life without them. I know.
But if we try to think of when we will see them again, we will try to fill that span with good things to fill in the gaps. It’s not forgetting them. It’s making due with other good things until we are together again.
So don’t feel disrespectful when you move on. You have to, my friends. Sometimes we only get one big love or one big friendship. The others may never be as big. But we can fill in the happy with others who are meant to keep us going and we may keep them going too.
The sunshiney was a welcome treat to our day.
And I won’t let the clouds of tomorrow ruin that memory or anything else anymore!
