This is Fruitycake. Life is a mixture of mysteries and more mysteries here. When the seasons change, things are uncovered. Buildings and bridges hidden in the woods.

Mystery sounds and smells from the forest.

And even the occasional screams. Yes. I said screams. Sometimes that is Girl Person while she is sleeping. That will definitely wake you up.

As the leaves started falling here with the blustery wind, a mystery unlike any I have ever experienced came to be.

As the door was open, something blew in. The Mysterious Leaf Of 8.

But first, why was the door open? Well, Brickle always wanted to know he could look out and that he had freedom available. It made him happy to always have the door open. And I suppose we aren’t ready to close it just yet.

Yes, yes, I know. It isn’t the safest for the occasional wild pig that wants to drop in for dinner. So we do close it if we must. But the Mysterious Leaf of 8 didn’t need an invitation to come in. It blew in and landed on the persons. They noticed this wasn’t just any leaf. It had a number 8 mysteriously on it. How did it get there? We do not know. What does it mean? We do not know. That’s where you come in. Obviously, you can come in. The door is open. Also the lock is broken.

We do not know who wrote the 8 on the leaf or why. We don’t know what it means.

Is it a sign of what can be or who we can be?

Is it a clue to what we can do or something we should know? We don’t know.

But it didn’t just appear on the leaf. Everything is a sign we should see. Especially an 8 on a leaf.

Sometimes we can be so caught up in life just trying to survive that we don’t follow our purpose.

We may not even know our purpose yet. But we all have one. The clue to living our best lives and at the same time making the world better is to see the sign signs right in front of our eyes.
