Princesses Scrub Ceilings

This is Fruitycake. I sure am glad that I am a dog sometimes. So glad. I watched Girl Person yesterday working hard as usual. But she was happy about it this time. And it made me so happy I got sad. Does that make sense?

Girl Person isn’t one to dress up. No. She has always liked climbing trees and planting seeds and being outside. She told me the one exception to that is her love of vintage clothes and purses from the 1940s and 1950s. I wasn’t around then as a dog. But I have seen pictures of her when she used to dress up. But no matter what she wears, Boy Person calls her a princess. I didn’t know that a princess would scrub ceilings though.

But she decided last week with some urging from some of you reading this that we needed to remove mold and paint. We haven’t had the funds to do that. My second job as a dog English teacher hasn’t been accepted yet. I could give two barks about that.

But with some help from friends, we were able to get some cleaning supplies and she started on getting off the mold in our bedroom. You see, that’s where we sleep. And we think it will make us all feel better.

She scrubbed and scrubbed and started with the ceiling. It was worse than she imagined.

And it’s going to take quite a few hours just to get it clean. Then they will put something over that and then the paint. Nothing is quick here because princesses like Girl Person can only work so fast.

We thought a good idea for the bedroom would be to make it an orange grove! Like where she grew up. She said the dream came to her and I like it. Do you? Something like this?

Or this?

Princesses scrub ceilings. Yes. In fact, they do many things.

Work hard for themselves and their families. I love all the girl person princesses out there who have their own ceilings in life to scrub but still help others. That’s royalty to me.

Fruitycake love the orange and yellow bedroom pictures. I sure hope you are able to do something like that. You really need to get ALL the mold out of your house. That may be why you are all sick so much! I don’t if girl person just scrubbing the ceiling and walls will get rid of it. I always heard you needed to have mold removed by a professional. 🙏🙏🙏

Dear Fruity, I like the orange and yellow colors for that room. Nice and airy. I saw the picture of Girl Person scrubbing the ceiling. I don’t know if they have a paint that can seal the old paint in case that paint contained lead. It is more expensive than regular paint, but it’s healthier for humans. I could also suggest using and wearing a mask so you don’t have to breathe the dust. Just saying. Anyway, have a good day.
