That’s A Weed, And She’s A Weed, And He’s A Weed

This is Fruitycake. Have you ever seen so much work that needs to be done? Have you ever seen so many weeds and thorns? Yeah. Me neither.

Here at our little house in this Italy place, it can get overwhelming to the persons. But, lately, they have taken on a new attitude.

Essentials first, work every day on multiple projects, don’t get bored and keep going. But as you know, Boy Person’s body pretty much gave out last week and then Girl Person. But Boy Person has never said he couldn’t do something.

And so when he did, we knew it was serious, and we had to weed out the problems and what we could do to help him.

We took a few steps back and realized that we had to make some adjustments. We thought we were on the right track and then got some pretty negative emails. Saying things would never change. And that we should give up. That maybe things weren’t what we thought. Well, yeah! The food is way better. The people are way nicer. And the rain? Well yes. That was a shock.

And you know what? As Girl Person was pulling weeds yesterday and thorns, she realized something! That some people are weeds. They try to block your sun and overtake your growth. They don’t support your progress. They don’t believe in you. Simple as that.

But along with the weeds, there are always the flowers. The ones that clump and thrive together. The ones that smell sweet. The ones that help you to grow and succeed. Because there is always room for more flowers.

You’re a flower to us. The ones who decided to take it upon themselves to see us take root.

And save our lives. Literally. There may be weeds. There may be thorns. But we sincerely believe that just like this land will give back, we will give back to you! And we thank you, dear flowers!

We have so generously been asked by our friends and the 2 Traveling Dogs family for specifically what we currently need. Our current hope and wish is for solar panels and a solar generator in order to alleviate getting fuel up the path for our current generator. We thank you for your support and love and concern. You can help here and specify in notes what your support is for!

It’s very sad when people offer advice and say that you should give up. Those people are only reflecting themselves onto other people. They sit on the sidelines and tell other people what to do, while they live in fear.

Great video; thanks! I can’t help financially, but I’m beginning to believe in your adventures a little more. I was wondering how far you are from Rome? Is th3 papal election a big thing in Portofino? Take care of yourselves.
