The Map

This is Fruitycake. Here in this Italy place, it’s starting to get busier. More alive.

And although we had hoped that this meant the rain was over, we hear there is supposed to be another storm on the way this weekend.

If you enjoyed the blog today, you can contribute any amount here! Less than 2% of our readers take the time to contribute. We appreciate you all and will keep this blog going as long as we can and wherever we are, for people and animals.  If you contribute today, consider setting up a recurring, monthly or weekly amount!

Girl Person said her Pappy believed that the weather people were never right. And if you wanted to know if it was raining, to go outside and see for yourself.

I wondered when I heard this if anyone really knows what they are doing. I certainly don’t. My ball certainly doesn’t. That’s why I bark at it all the time. It doesn’t listen.

But I think that all of us are pretty much the same. Even if you’ve went to school all of your life, you don’t know it all. Brickle was the only one that knew it all.

I know that when we used to drive a lot, we always got lost.

We get lost here too. The buses and trains get us lost. Even when we walk somewhere, the phone tells us a wrong way to go.

We try to look at maps of our property here. And the maps have changed over time. You see, nothing is ever right all the time. We all get lost. No one or nothing knows it all. And even if they did, that would change like the maps.

So why do persons rely on others to know what’s best for them? Don’t they know what direction their heart wants to take? I see Girl Person agonizing over decisions she’s made. I see her stressing about guilt and regret. And yet, she got us here to this Italy place.  That was no small trip. So why is she doubting her direction now? Because she is tired. And it’s hard. You can’t deny that.

But when you know what’s in your heart, and you believe it is right, you have to visualize getting there. You have to think about how you will get there. And you have to keep going. The map may change.

Your direction may change. And you may have went the long way. But it’s never too late to write a new map. Look at me. Look where I am.

And imagine where you could be.

Fruitycake

This is Fruitycake. My April movie is in two days and we need your rescues in it! We only have a very few and we want this movie to be the best! The world may be crazy now. But being kind to animals is a priority. We can’t let the world’s noise drown out those who need our help! The animals.

Fruity’s Movie This Month!

The Rescue Rock. Where you can close your eyes and hear the sound and know that it flows all year round, even when it doesn’t rain for a long time. Because when it did rain, it rained hard and long. But it turned into a miracle. Just like what rescues go thru.

Get a spot in our movie THIS WEEK to remember your rescue or to honor your rescue now! This is going to be beautiful!

Any contribution accepted to continue our unique animal rescue work and wildlife projects work here! After your contribution you’ll receive an email with instructions on sending a picture to us!

Fruity, it’s rainy and dreary here in the Pacific Northwest just like it is pretty much every Spring. It’s hard to even get motivated to go to the store. But I need to go today because I need my Pringles! Hope it’s a nicer day in that Italian place. Enjoy your day!
